Honeycrisp Apple Harvest Salad

One of my favorite fall salads includes homegrown apples, nuts, dried fruit and some kind of cheese. Wondering what to do with apples you picked while apple picking at our orchard? A combination of fresh, healthy recipes and sweet, baked good recipes is a great place to start!

While I’m always tempted to try tasty recipes including baked apples, the simplicity of eating fresh apples often wins out!

This apple salad recipe is simple and versatile. Try it with your favorite nuts or dried fruit and the crumbled cheese of your choice. I chose Honeycrisp apples, walnuts, dried cranberries and blue cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette.

We currently have 10 varieties of apples to pick and counting! Throughout the season, we have over 30 apple varieties to pick. Apple picking is a great family activity!
