Those of us who are blessed to work directly in the orchard on these beautiful spring mornings are greeted with the pleasant sound of birds chirping and honeybees buzzing as we watch the sunrise over the blossoming orchard.
The blossoms range from the bright pink hues of peaches, to pink and white apple buds and white cherry and plum blossoms set against a backdrop of orange, red and pink as the sun rises over the Berks County rolling hills. The pink peach blossoms have mostly finished for the season, but some pink can be seen on blossoms like the apple blossoms pictured above.
This Friday and Saturday, we’re inviting you to enjoy some of this beauty as well! On Friday, come on over from 11-5 and Saturday swing by between 10-4 for our Spring Blossom Experience.
We’ll have hayrides through the blossoming orchard, photo ops in the blossoms, tasty food samples from our vendors, a spring themed story time and more! Hayrides are $9 per person or $30 for a group of 4 people. Plus, you can browse for spring flowers in our garden center, grab an iced coffee or spring special from Kim’s Cafe and shop in our farm market too.
Our farm market has some exciting spring favorites including homegrown asparagus and North Carolina strawberries. All ages can find something to enjoy here at our Spring Blossom Experience!
Plus, Saturday only you can cuddle with baby goats from Swartz’s Roadside stand! They are bringing their mobile petting zoo, and for just $8 you or your child can spend some time holding and cuddling with their baby goats!
