Michael joins us as our produce manager with over 22 years of produce experience, working his way from high school student to produce manager at Oregon Dairy in Lititz, PA. During his time at Oregon Dairy he has won several display contests including the National Apple Display contest. Michael wrote the customer service curriculum, as well as training videos for the store. He brings a passion for teaching, coaching and providing the best customer experience possible. Michael also was the evening manager for Garden of Eden produce at Green Dragon.
Michael graduated from Conestoga Valley High School and pursued a degree in education on an athletic scholarship to Millersville University. After college he worked at King Elementary school in Lancaster city in their emotional support classroom. During this time, he ran the after school programs including coaching basketball as well as coaching baseball at his former high school for over 10 years.
Michael is a proud father of four children: Peyton – 13, Isabella -11, Matthew – 9, Bennet -7. They currently reside in Reamstown, PA. Family is very important to him and he values his time with them playing sports, watching movies, playing video games and enjoying time in the outdoors. He loves all things sports and runs a fantasy football podcast in his free time.
