Grocery Budgeting Tips, Part 2: From the Kitchen of Rachel VanDuzer

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • Coarse sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Season a whole chicken with coarse sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper and garlic.
  2. Add olive oil and water to a crock pot and slow-cook for 4 hours on high.
  3. Serve with baked or roasted potatoes and steamed, in-season vegetables.
