    • 4 Golden Delicious apples, peeled
    • 2 Stayman apples, unpeeled

Instructions

    1. Wash apples well.
    1. Combine apples and water and bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes, until apples are soft and mashable.
    1. Uncover and simmer about 12 minutes until liquid evaporates. Mash the apples well with a fork.
    1. Stir in cinnamon.
  1. Cool before serving.
