5 Minute Fresh Salsa

  • 4 Plum tomatoes
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1/2 medium red onion
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • salt (approximately 1 tsp) and pepper to taste
  • *Optional: diced jalapeno pepper or cayenne pepper flakes, to taste


  1. Pulse the pepper and onion in a food processor until there are no more big chunks.
  2. Add the tomatoes and pulse until combined. Add the lime juice, salt and pepper and cilantro. Add the jalapeno or cayenne pepper if using. Pulse one last time to combine.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips.
