5-Ingredient Pear Galette

- 2 pears
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 egg, beaten
- Plus oil or cooking spray for the pan
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Peel the pears and then slice them into thin slices. Toss in a medium bowl with the applesauce and sugar.
- Grease a pie plate or rimmed cookie sheet with butter, oil or cooking spray.
- Lay the pie crust down on the pie plate/cookie sheet. Fill with pear mixture, leaving about 3-4″ around the edges. Fold the edges up over the pear mixture. Brush with beaten egg. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on the edges. Remove from oven. Cool 10 minutes before serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
