Join us for our first ever Homeschool Day!

Our fall tours focus on apples. Your group will learn about an apple’s life cycle and get a

back-stage pass to see what happens to an apple once it is ready to be

harvested at Weaver’s Orchard. The cost is $13 per person (adults and

kids 2+ must pay as well).

Participants will take 2 hours to do the following:

  • Take a guided hayride through the orchard

  • Discover how apples form and grow

  • Learn about caring for apple trees

  • Pick their own apples (2 per student) to take home

  • Pick a small pumpkin or gourd

  • Visit the packing house

  • Check out our cold storage area

  • Watch the apple sorting process that prepares fruit for marketing

  • Observe the commercial cider press

  • Get a snack of fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts

  • *Note that specific activities included in each tour will vary based on the season and weather conditions.

Ages

Preschool through 12th grade Homeschool students. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Details:

  • Here are a few things to keep in mind for your upcoming tour:
    1. Please BE ON TIME, Your reservation time is when your group is scheduled to begin.
    2. Wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes. You will be walking through Farm areas that may have uneven terrain and/or mud.
    3. If you are running late, Please call to alert us of your late arrival at 610-856-7300. We will start promptly at the time you booked your tour.
    4. Tour guide(s) are assigned according to the number of tours that we have booked. All participants (adults and children) will be required to pay for their tour.
    5. Tours will take place unless the weather is severe. We operate in light rain so rain gear is advised. If you consider the weather inclement, you may cancel up until the morning of your visit and we will gladly reschedule you for another day. Please contact me the evening before or the morning of your tour at the number below.
