Group Facilities & Amenities

Please note that the following facilities and amenities are available for the use of our tour groups who have satisfied the minimum $50 group tour fee.

School Tour Facilities

Fall Play Area
Our play area is open during September and October and features Bugsby our inflatable caterpillar, a straw barn and corn kernel play area. Space in our play area can be reserved in half hour increments. Please schedule when you reserve your day at the orchard.  

Picnic Area
Many groups like to enjoy lunch under the shade of canopies in our picnic area. Because we accommodate many groups in a day, we require you to schedule your half hour time slot at the picnic tables. Visit our deli for freshly made sandwiches!

Group Tour Hayrides
If you choose to include a hayride in your tour, your guide will point out the various fruit trees while the tractor and wagon take you on a 15–20 minute ride through the orchard. Safety is always on our minds as we ask all participants to remain seated and keep heads and hands inside the wagon.

Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin
Our pumpkin patch has many great pumpkins to choose from!

Safety at the Orchard:
Because we are a working farm, we have trucks, tractors and workers moving around the property. This enables the students to get a true taste of the farm as well as provide opportunity to teach safety. We ask all participants; students, teachers and parent chaperones to:

	Remain behind the tour guide at all times.
	Pay attention to instructions (when the tour guide is speaking, all others should be listening).
	Keep all body parts inside the wagon when on the hay ride.
	Wear comfortable clothing including good walking shoes. Gravel paths may be difficult to traverse especially when coming down the hill.
	Chaperones and teachers are responsible for students. Our guides are able to teach about the farm, but you know your students. Our guides will ask if your students and chaperones are all with you before moving on to the next location.

 Rules:
- We reserve the right to discontinue an event without a refund if the following rules are violated.
- ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES!
- Absolutely no offensive language (we are a family friendly farm).
- Excessive rowdiness will not be tolerated.
- No standing on the benches or picnic tables. Absolutely no horse play.
- No careless handling of flammable materials.
- No use of fireworks, sparklers, firearms or other dangerous material.
- Any activity deemed inappropriate for a pleasant and positive experience for our guests will not be tolerated.
