Pumpkins

Believe is or not... a pumpkin is really a squash. And it is actually considered to be a fruit.
Before the discovery of corn in the early American colonies, pumpkins were the staple food found in all households.
Pumpkins are relatively easy to grow and are actually raised in 6 of the 7 continents. Take a guess which one you can't fine any on... Antarctica.
You can actually eat the flowers of pumpkin plants.
They are made up of about 90 percent water.
