Janell Weaver

An orchard girl learning to live in the city of Puebla, all for the love of a man. My passions: fulfilling my purpose of being on this Earth; loving my family; dreaming with my husband; fruit (both the mouth-watering fruit grown by my father and brothers, as well as the delicious, more tropical fruits of south central Mexico); learning the incredible cuisine of mother-in-law; learning how to make everything I possibly can from scratch. My current largest food-related hurdles: adjusting to baking fluffy cookies at a high altitude, finding the right ingredients to make what I used to make in Pennsylvania, and not simply dying at the thought of the juicy, ripe berries and tree fruit growing right now at my other home, Weaver's Orchard.
